Come here to get away from busy city life and for a chance to get close to animals. A visit to Newham City Farm makes a great day out. You'll find many different types of animals as well as a visitors' centre, outdoor educational and classroom activities, and a display room. Activities include: dairying, animal care, bee keeping, wool-craft, ecology, arts and crafts. It’s all outside, so wear clothes for the weather and shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy. The farm workers are very friendly and don’t mind lots of visitors, sometimes we are allowed to feed the animals. There are some very strange pigs at the farm!
